These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CGP Polished Concrete services and website. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any work or quotations.

About Our Services: CGP Concrete Grinding & Polishing specializes in concrete surface treatments including polished concrete, grind and seal finishes, epoxy coatings, concrete grinding, tile and glue removal, and paint removal from concrete surfaces. We work on the surface of your existing concrete slab, and the end result depends significantly on the quality of the underlying concrete.

Concrete Quality Requirements: The durability and longevity of polished concrete finishes depend greatly on the quality of the concrete and the methods used by your concreter and builder in pouring and finishing the slab. We strongly recommend using professional builders and concreters who follow correct procedures for preparing, pouring, and trowelling slabs intended for polished concrete finishes.

Pre-Pour Consultation: CGP is happy to liaise with your concreter before they pour to help avoid common mistakes. Proper preparation is essential for optimal results, and this consultation service can save significant time and costs later.

Quotations and Pricing: All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to site inspection and may vary based on actual site conditions, concrete quality, and accessibility. Additional costs may apply for unforeseen circumstances discovered during the work process.

Payment Terms: Payment terms will be specified in each quotation. Generally, a deposit is required before commencement of work, with progress payments due at specified milestones, and final payment due upon completion. We accept payment by cash, cheque, or electronic transfer to CGP, Concrete Grinding & Polishing, PO BOX 222, Ascot Vale, Victoria 3032.

Warranties and Limitations: We warrant our workmanship for a period specified in your quotation. However, we cannot warrant against issues arising from poor concrete quality, structural movement, or inadequate preparation by others. Natural variations in aggregate exposure and concrete characteristics are normal and not covered under warranty.

Liability and Insurance: Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We maintain appropriate public liability insurance. Clients are responsible for ensuring adequate access, power supply, and site safety measures. We reserve the right to cease work if site conditions are deemed unsafe.
